there will be only chaos
If there is anything out there in the world that I could complain and moan about it would be the feeling of anticipation. You know when that glorious mass-media good that you are dying to play, watch, read, etc. and you are not even close to the release date and your days just seem to go by slower by the minute and you would do just about ANYTHING to get closer to that special day. Well, in this...
Anti-intellectualism
i have read the essay “Anti-intellectualism” by Grant Penrod and i am not very impressed with the way he wrote it but i do agree with parts that seemed reasonable.
I do agree with him that “nerds” are most likely not to be remembered unlike the appearances of extremely popular people who were less educated. I find that if you do indeed get perfect scores on every one of...
What Pittsburgh Lacks?
Living in Pittsburgh for 4 months has giving me enough time to evaluate on what things i like and what things i do not like. This post is solely dedicated to the things that i hate the most in this city and i have three things to nitpick about.
I general am a very kind person and it takes a lot to really set my blood pressure really high but the one major beef that I have with this city more than...

Thats not you?
I see this guys almost everyday of my life and all i can think of is how ugly and unattractive he is. He is so pale and comes off as an albino. He is extremely obese and everytime i see him eat his meal i want to vomit. he practically comes off as a child and is very short and him being obese does not help him meet new friends. All my friends look at him and laugh at how he dresses because he...
so many places?
For as little time as I have spent so far here in Pittsburgh which is the equivalent to about 4 months, I have a strong feeling that I know a good amount of places here in this very fine city that I live in. But, when it comes down to writing about a specific place, I have many that come to my mind.
I noticed that there are quite a few theatres in the city that I have not been able to catch yet...
What Am I Describing?
I am going to talk about a historic landmark here in Pittsburgh and I will give you clues as to what the place could be. Without further ado, let’s begin! In 1873, the Pittsburgh and Lake Erie Railroad was first chartered in 1877. In 1879, the Pittsburgh and Lake Erie Railroad officially opened for commercial traffic and later became known as the Little Giant for the amount of tonnage that it...

My visions of Pittsburgh before I moved here
I always envisioned Pittsburgh as a far more superior city than Clevand, Ohio(which i grew up by). I thought that the city would be cleaner, safer, and overall a more productive environment to live in. I looked at pictures of Pittsburgh and was extremely impressed with how the city looked and thought that it would be a great place to live in and even raise a family if it came to that. I honestly...
Top 10 movies of 2009
Before I begin my list of the top ten movies of 2009, I want to say a quick summary of what i thought this year was good for and how it compares to other years in the cinema world. Just like all the other years in movies, it begins off rather distasteful and bitter but as it further progresses down the road, it gradually gets better. The summer movies of 2009 as a whole were a lot more satisfying...
